As I have been hinting here, my motion towards an evolving praxis of non-racial absolutism is underway. My aim is to separate the edifying aspects of black American cultures from all racialism letting that stand as an example for all races and cultures. The simplest path is really to see what international echoes we get of such fine arts and crafts. The more difficult path is what Wink Twyman and I are exploring; what it means to be ‘post-black’. Black in this context is the protest-style of liberation politics which was readily accepted during the counter-cultural 1960s. Neither of us have much use for trying to apply it to our worldview or personal demeanor (to the extent so much is leveraged upon that).
In the first episode we get a feel for how we speak to each other and how we might qualify as ‘wise elders’ from the perspective of successful professionals from good families. Yeah. That’s more difficult. What do we know, after all? On the other hand, what does Joe Rogan know? He knows how to talk openly without being owned by corporates, something few black talking heads (and more recently Steve Harvey) are able to do and keep their day jobs. Give us a listen, and oh by the way, tell us what you’d like us to discuss. 2024 is going to be hot.
These two guys might be worth a listen. We need more wise elders in the land/smile.
