It's helpful to see the nature/extent of collaboration be more fully articulated, as you do, without the kind of conspiratorial overreach that is too easily born of fear and suspicion. The movement's overall development is undeniably organic, and control is somewhat randomly distributed as in peer-to-peer systems. But opportunistic sub-structures are developing within it and manifesting with notable coherence. The media and both political parties add narratives that not only give it the feeling of being one big thing, but of the constituents being of shared purpose. Those narratives are misleading, as they are merely following and tidying up the uncontrolled movements while at the same time trying to inject and drive more specific, purposeful, partisan directions.
