I almost wrote "Thanks, from one Yokel to another" but you're not a Yokel! I'm the Yokel; I don't have a scintilla of your technical expertise - I'm 90% seat-of-the-pants survival-wise. Well, to throw a stick on the fire: humankind - we - have finally realized that we are a kind of gigantic problem - that we could wipe ourselves out; you look out from there and realize we don't have much by way of intelligent leadership - makes your past and present imaginings look like downright common sense ... as I write this the US Navy Blue Angels are buzzing our neighborhood getting ready for the hydroplane races tomorrow (Seattle's Seafair summer celebration); when those FA/18s thunder overhead at near Mach 1 you think, "OK I surrender, just don't drop any bombs on my house ..." but then again, I'm a Yokel and we do dumb stuff like not surrender ... cheers ...
