Maybe you haven't heard, but there's a separate (but equal) holiday for African Americans (sorry, I don't do "Blacks). It's called Juneteenth NATIONAL Independence Day so it's even more meaningful and patriotic than just plain old Independence Day.

Oh, and it's 'du Bois' — two words.

I have decided, primarily on the recent words of Condoleeza Rice ( https://www.thefp.com/p/condoleezza-rice-juneteenth) , that any celebration of American liberty in any old flavor, is worth respecting. But I didn't take the day off. Liberty, like anything valuable, is not equally distributed, respected or fought for. Sometimes freedom comes in the form of a soldier on horseback riding into a small town in Texas. Sometimes freedom comes in the form of a soldier in tank riding into a small town in Germany. Liberty doesn't have just one birthday.

Condi related that her mother told her not to concern herself with other Black people's problems. Condi, being apologetic for white racism, has lived up to her mom's words. Colin Powell wasn't afraid to speak up against racism.

This may be difficult for some people to believe, but it is true for many black Americans that identifying and fighting against racism is not a high priority. Only if one believes in the validity of the very idea of race, will they see an absolute need of any member of any race to fulfill a racial duty. I speak about this briefly here: https://humanraceman.substack.com/p/black-elites

Attention naive meritorious manumission negroes and white supremacist enablers:

Allies of former President Donald Trump and powerful conservative organizations are preparing to use civil rights laws to protect white Americans. If Trump is reelected in November, their plan involves reinterpreting civil rights laws to combat what they perceive as "anti-white racism."

Key Points:

Reinterpretation of Civil Rights Laws:

•Trump's allies aim to change the government's interpretation of Civil Rights-era laws to address what they consider "reverse racism" against white Americans. They plan to dismantle government programs and diversity initiatives that they believe favor non-white individuals.

Stephen Miller's Role:

•Former Trump adviser Stephen Miller is leading this initiative through the right-wing judicial activist group America First Legal. They have sued several companies, including Nike, Disney, United Airlines, the NFL, and CBS Entertainment, alleging discrimination against white men. Legal Groundwork:America First Legal has filed lawsuits citing the 1964 Civil Rights Act to challenge "woke" corporate policies of inclusion and programs that they believe discriminate against white individuals.

Heritage Foundation's "Project 2025":

•The conservative think tank Heritage Foundation envisions ending what they call "affirmative discrimination" under a potential second Trump administration. They plan to reorganize and refocus the DOJ's Civil Rights Division to support this change.

•Trump's Claims of Anti-White Discrimination:

Trump himself has claimed to be the target of anti-white discrimination and has directed advisers to explore ways to compel the Justice Department to investigate New York Attorney General Letitia James, whom he accuses of being "racist."

Implications of This Strategy:

•Legal and Political Landscape:This strategy could shift the focus of civil rights enforcement and lead to debates and legal battles over the interpretation and application of civil rights laws.

Impact on Diversity and Inclusion Programs:

•If successful, this approach could affect diversity and inclusion initiatives designed to address historical inequalities and promote equal opportunities.

Societal Repercussions:

•The strategy may lead to increased tensions and divisions within society, potentially influencing public opinion on discrimination and civil rights protections. Precedent for Future Policies:Establishing a precedent for using civil rights laws in this manner could open the door for other groups to seek similar reinterpretations to serve their interests.

International Perception:

•This strategy could impact how the United States is viewed internationally in terms of its commitment to human rights and equality.

Economic Considerations:

•Companies and organizations may face legal challenges that could affect their operations and policies related to diversity and hiring practices. It's important to note that these are potential implications, and the actual outcomes would depend on various factors, including legal interpretations, enforcement, and public response. The discussion around civil rights is complex and evolving, and any changes to its interpretation would likely be met with significant scrutiny and debate."

Racial discrimination, negative or positive, will always be divisive and controversial simply because categorization by race is, by definition, a zero-sum game. The most rational solution is to make racial discrimination illegal. Wait. It already is. Funny how people always decide to interpret racial self-interest as morally superior. Nothing new in that. Interestingly, you don't address the existential threat of Trump and his allies implementing the Heritage Foundation's Project 2025. Discrimination laws would favor whites.

How is it more meaningful? Because Joe made it a federal holiday? How is Juneteenth more meaningful and patriotic? Seems that without an Independence Day there'd be no Juneteenth.

Blacks were enslaved on July 4, 1776. In the wake of the 1852 Fugitive Slave Act, Frederick Douglass gave a powerful speech expressing the hypocrisy of Independence Day.

Stand by for my next post on this matter in the Human Race Man. TLDR, the majority of sources available on the internet only excerpt the darkest portions of Douglass' speech, relatively few give the whole text as he wrote it. In other words, revisionists are having their way, including the Smithsonian. You have been bamboozled, short changed, and deceived.

I'm familiar with the complete Fredrick Douglas speech. For more clarification, Fredrick Douglas wasn’t a Black conservative grifter (scammer, sellout, or hustler) who shape-shifted to be close to power. He fought hard against Black conservative grifters, especially the ones who profited during reconstruction with anti-black racism.

There was a particular Black reconstruction grifter who was more anti-black racist than the racist whites. He ended up owning a town and a large mansion in a southern city. I'm currently at my second home on the beach without my library to specifically name this Black grifter. Nonetheless, the town eventually became impoverished.

Furthermore, I have read several books and traveled the world (all continents). There's no such thing as a colorblind society. It's an ideal, not reality.

Yes, race is a social construct, but “Blackness'“ is here to stay. Colorism is prevalent around the globe, especially in South Africa and the Caribbean — which are just two examples. Some Africans and Indians have resorted to using dangerous skin-whitening chemicals. White supremacy is the most powerful religion in the world.

Did you see the interaction between billionaire (or close to billionaire) Vivek Ramaswamy and Ann Coulter? Ann Coulter said she approved of Ramaswamy's political points but wouldn't vote for an Indian. The response on Ramaswamy's face was very comical and entertaining.

It was amazing to watch Vivek Ramaswamy and Niki Haley trying to out anti-black each other during their campaigns for the GOP candidate for president. Being honorary white, supporting white supremacy, and repudiating your race or ethnicity is an illusion.

Notably, following their arrival in the United States, Niki Haley's dad was hired by an HBCU when white colleges rejected his employment applications. Niki Haley's mother's business clients were predominantly black.

Moving on, Racism is a competitive relationship between groups for ownership and control of resources for wealth and power. Europeans got the headstart with the genocide of the Indigenous, billions of acres of free Indian land, abundant free black labor (stolen social capital), colonization, apartheid, Jim Crow, and structural Racism. Blacks have been the boot and loot — and were never intended to rise above that.

You have been deceived with [meritorious manumission]. Black grifters are scammers, hustlers, and sellouts who shape-shift to be proximate to power — like your boy Clarence Thomas, Tim Scott, Bryon Donalds…

You seem to be under the mistaken assumption that I give two shits about Republican politics or conservative talking points. I got off that train 16 years ago. Why? Because it's stupid and incapable of evolution, unlike science. I'm not totally indifferent, but the principle involved is simple. I abstain because I don't care enough. The only thing domestic politics can do for me is make me a sandwich. I'm more interested in geopolitics, because like you (probably), having been elsewhere I find the gripes of people in other countries equally important, but only at the level of sustained lethal conflict. Otherwise I call them First World Problems. American race politics is basically working class gripes and Karen vs Hotep.

Bottom line is that I'm not moving to Ferguson, MO to make things better for the poor slobs and their crappy government. Racism is more real for the working class. Sucks to be them. Sucks to be politically committed to their racial dialog.

All race grifters are equally full of shit. I don't privilege any race over any other, just the way I don't privilege Jews over Muslims or Hindus over Buddhists. All people who expect race or religion to defy the laws of physics are also in that same boat which is full of shit.

Here's the way I logic my way out of that racial barrel. I'm not unique or the first and nowhere near the last. https://freeblackthought.substack.com/p/race-ideology-in-practice See if you can find the category which best represents your POV and perhaps you can direct a more cogent critique against what you think I am and what I seek to enable. I'm a skeptical eliminativist, because I don't care about racial theories, racial politics and zero-sum racial games. I only write about that to make it clear.

The last trick for me is to separate racial identity from cultural identity. I'm halfway there. The explanation is complex but I'll make it clear. The more you understand the clarity of Stoicism the more you'll understand why I don't bother with American power games.
