This is very insightful and why I always suspected that cultural anthropology , though it began by debunking ‘race’ as a racist concept, the. refused to promote race-blind analysis and instead doubled down on racial boxes as a weird form of condescending apology and honorific...when the color of skin is not statistically correlated to many behaviors social scientists study.
