Truth is that which remains constant regardless of the attention paid to it. Thus truth shapes the boundaries of human possibilities whether or not humans themselves are aware of that shape. Wisdom allows us to approach and deal with the truth. The wise understand that the truth often surprises and upsets human purpose and intent.
