Excellent account.

I noted, at that time, the hubris of EVERYBODY [except the jurors} to pass judgement not just without having sat in the seat of a juror, but based on what they'd "heard." What's heard, through news media, is a partially curated potpourri of facts, innuendo, and poo-poo (invariably including demon enzymes that catalyze feelings of revulsion). What kind of a foundation is that for judgement?

And race. Race, race, race. OJ was a kind of Rorschach Test for how we process race in our shared narratives. It seems that the void that is our ignorance is easily filled by our unsubstantiated but self-righteous presumptions. We're surely idiots.

Thanks for reminding me of this. The story ages well in that the predicament, in my view, remains much the same. (Your analysis is still on the mark.)
